    Description

This listing is for a beautiful 4 strand handmade rolled turquoise bead necklace with sterling silver cones made by an unknown Native American Navajo artist.
I purchased this directly from the well-known fourth-generation trader, Ellis Tanner, at his trading post in Gallup, New Mexico in 2003.
The necklace was never worn and is in "like new" condition with the
    exception
of one small broken bead that falls about 1" from the cone at the back of the necklace. This should not be readily visible when worn as, it will fall at the back of your neck.
    I have
circled the broken bead in the last photo.
The multi strand necklace measures as follows:
    The shortest strand (
    turquoise beads only) measures
16" , the next approximately 17", the next approximately 18", and the longest measures 19".  The two cones add an additional 3" of length to the necklace.
The rolled turquoise beads graduate in size from approximately 3/8" (the largest) to 1/8" (the smallest), and are separated by tiny pen shell heishi beads.
The necklace weighs a substantial 5.3 ounces.
You can polish the silver up if you prefer (many prefer the silver to look aged as do I).
